About The Festival
The Baltimore County African American Cultural Festival (BCAACF) is a free annual event for all ages which delivers wholesome family entertainment and an educational exhibition of the rich African American heritage in Baltimore County. Our festival attracts thousands of attendees each year who convene to celebrate the rich and thriving traditions of the African American community, enjoy local and national entertainers, purchase goods and food from unique vendors, learn historical facts, and discover empowering information shared by our sponsors and exhibitors.
Founded in 1996 by the current Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates, Adrienne Jones, our Festival board members organize this event each year as a means to raise funds to support of charitable programs such as scholarships, summer camps, and historical preservation projects.
